DESCRIPTION:\nMAINE ESTATE PLANNING COUNCIL\n \n \n \nBreakfast Meeting Notice\n \n \n \nDate: October 20, 2016\n \nPlace: Portland Country Club\n \nTime: 7:30 AM Breakfast / 8:00 AM Program\n \n \n \nTopic:\n \nReverse Mortgages\n \nPlease join us for a breakfast meeting on Reverse Mortgages.  Until recently, there were two ways for clients to get cash from their home: (1) sell the home – which requires your clients to move, or (2) borrow against their home – which requires your clients to make monthly loan repayments.  Reverse mortgages offer your clients a third option for getting money from their home.  Sharron Eastman will provide an update explaining new program changes, protections and uses for your clients.\n \n \n \nSharron Eastman owns Big Horizon Mortgage in Kennebunk.  Big Horizon has provided professional residential mortgage services for 13 years, specializing in reverse loans. \n \n \n \nSharron has been in the mortgage and real estate fields for over 19 years in Maine and Massachusetts.  She is a past board member of the Maine Association of Mortgage Brokers and served on the ethics committee and chaired their education committee for 4 years.    She is a current member of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association. \n \n \n \nSharron is an exceptional teacher and provides Realtor, CPA and legal continuing education.  She has been featured as a Success Story in Maine Women Magazines’ article on women entrepreneurs.  \n \n \n \nDrawing upon her leadership skills, Sharron has served as Vestry Member and Warden of Kennebunk's St. David's Episcopal Church and Maine RSU 21 Odyssey of the Mind Coach.   Sharron is an avid skier, a level 3 certified professional ski instructor and a graduate of Ohio University.\n  \n
