Yes, that’s an acronym. It stands for Asset. Limited. Income Constrained. Employed., essentially, the working-class Southern Mainers who make more than the federal poverty line and below a livable wage. We’ll spend the first portion of the session deeply diving into the data, including breaking down the numbers, populations affected, and general hardships facing our neighbors. Lastly, we’ll present the group with an overview of what we’re doing as an organization to move A.L.I.C.E families forward and how individuals can assist the cause, including our planned giving efforts. We’re talking about going from engagement to action.\n
