Welcome to the website of the Maine Estate Planning Council.

We are a group of more than 200 estate planning professionals who enjoy sharing ideas and experiences, and learning together to advance our skills and improve upon the services we offer to our clients and their families.

Our members include attorneys, CPAs, CFP®s, CLU®s, ChFC®s, trust officers, and other professionals involved in the ever-changing field of estate planning. The members of this council have shaped, and will continue shaping the lives of generations of Mainers.

Our regular meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month from September to June, at the Portland Country Club in Falmouth. These meetings provide educational presentations on a broad array of estate planning and related topics, and are intended to help you better serve your clients and enhance your practice.

If you’d like to learn more about becoming a member, feel free to contact a board member with any questions. A list of council leadership can be found under the Directory tab. If you’re ready to join our group, a membership application is available under the Membership tab.

We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting!
