Financial stress does not end for dying persons or their families as they approach the end of life (“EOL”). In fact, financial and legal professionals have a special part to play in this crucial chapter of the lifecycle.
This presentation will introduce the blended modalities combining financial therapy, wealth advisory, and end of life doula work that will assist services professionals in empowering their clients during this delicate time.

Ashley Agnew, a Certified Financial Therapist™ and End of Life Doula, will share actionable takeaways for working with individuals dealing with a terminal illness whether personally or within those they love. Conversation will cover:

About the presenter:
Ashley works closely with HNW clients across generations in her position as Senior Wealth Advisor and Director of Financial Wellness at Centerpoint Advisors. With a specialty in financial therapy, she brings light to the emotional side of behavioral finance to help her client families become more engaged with their wealth outcomes. Ashley received her B.S. from the University of Massachusetts, her M.B.A. in global finance from Bryant University, graduate certificate in Financial Therapy from Kansas State University, and most recently received her End-of-Life Doula certification through the University of Vermont which she uses to compassionately hear her clients dealing with terminality and in her work as a hospice volunteer. Ashley is an active board member and past president of the Financial Therapy Association and has been featured in numerous media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Barrons, The New York Times, and CNN among others for her expertise in the growing field.
